ABOUT

We teach clear self-defence techniques that are easy to understand and apply. We focus on situational awareness, de-escalation, and boundary management because self-defence starts long before a conflict turns physical.

The training helps people recognise potential threats, communicate assertively, and handle confrontations with confidence. Whether you are an individual, business, or community group, we can design a training programme that improves personal safety and strengthens self-confidence.

Training includes:

  • Workplace boundary management

  • Corporate training – talks and physical sessions

  • Women-only self-defence workshops and courses

  • Self-defence for under-18s

  • University workshops and training programmes

  • Online training – talks and physical sessions

  • Small group, 1-2-1 training

  • Self-defence for travel

Sarah Brendlor

The self-defence coach

Before pursuing self-defence coaching, I had a long career in advertising, alongside a strong interest in fitness that led me to teach both strength and circuit training. I began my self-defence coaching journey in 2003 as a pastime. It has since become a career path I love, one that continues to inspire me as I witness the positive changes it brings to those I teach.
