Practical self-defence
Self-defence isn’t just about physical techniques; it begins with setting clear boundaries and diffusing situations before they escalate. I’ll teach you to recognise potential threats early, communicate assertively, and handle confrontations with confidence and calm.
While I teach the essential physical skills, my approach goes further. I focus on de-escalation and boundary management, because self-defence truly starts before a conflict ever turns physical.
Whether you come to me as an individual, or on behalf of a business or community group, you’ll find the sessions supportive and designed to build lasting confidence. Training includes:
• 1-2-1 and private group training

• Women-only self-defence workshops and courses

Before pursuing self-defence coaching, I had a long career in advertising as an art director, alongside a strong interest in fitness that led me to teach both strength and circuit training. I began my self-defence coaching journey with Krav Maga in 2003 as a pastime. It has since become a career path I love—one that continues to inspire me as I witness the positive changes it brings to those I teach.
